Madeline may come from Vermont, USA, but is really a citizen of the world. At the University of Vermont (UVM), she attained a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Science with focus on International Relations. Additionally, Madeline pursued an intensive summer course in Modern Standard Arabic at Middlebury College, continuing with Arabic classes at UVM. She even lived in Amman, Jordan for over six months to immerse herself in speaking Modern Standard Arabic and Jordanian Aamiya.
President of the Lawrence Debate Union for three years, Madeline dedicated untold hours to debate tournaments. From practice to participation, travel to peer coaching, Madeline lived and breathed debate. A force to be reckoned with, we simply love Maddy’s positive vibe.
