SUMMARY:National Debate Team 2026
DESCRIPTION:Qatar Connects\n Episode 5: The Hidden Engineering of the Qatari House\n Who really designs the Qatari House?\n \n \n Qatar Connects is a dialogue series bringing together Qatari youth from diverse backgrounds to shed light on the vibrant environment Qatar nurtures today. These sessions create a space to share stories\, experiences\, and future aspirations\, building bridges of communication that enrich the local landscape. \n This session explores the Qatari house as the product of intertwined layers of influences. We are joined by field experts who understand how today’s modern home is built. While the Qatari house might seem familiar to all\, behind every façade lie countless decisions shaped by families\, customs of hospitality\, municipal regulations\, climate adaptation\, and the vision of contractors and artisans. We look forward to celebrating the diversity of our homes and exploring how the various forms of the Qatari house serve as a living expression of a society we take pride in. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Date & Time\n Tuesday\, 3rd November05:30 PM – 06:30 PM \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Location\n Multaqa (Student Center)Education City \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Language\n Arabic \n \n \n\n \n Session Speakers\n \n \n \n \n Amna Alnaama\n Chairman of the Board\,Qatar Society of Engineers \n \n \n \n Albandary Alharmi\n Co-founder\,Scratch Architecture & Interior Design \n \n \n \n Salman Alsulaiti\n Architect\, Innovator\,and Writer \n \n \n\n \n \n \n Soud Aldelaimi\n Board Member\,Qatar Society of Engineers \n Moderator\n \n \n\n \n \n Join the Conversation\n \n \n Registration Will Open Soon\n \n Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates. \n \n\n \n \n Strategic Partner
