QatarDebate invites teachers to take part in this workshop that aims to facilitate the use of debate as an educational tool across the curriculum.

This workshop will explore the following:

• Why is debate an important and effective teaching tool inside the classroom?
• How the different components of debate (e.g. public speaking, argumentation, and debate format) can be used to promote and reinforce learning in the classroom across the curriculum?
• What are some practical tips, debate exercises, and resources for using debate in the classroom?
